Upcoming Airfield Impacts and Closures
The construction phase of the Airfield Modernization Program continues in 2026. These significant initiatives will enhance the safety and operational efficiency of our facilities and bring our airfield into compliance with current FAA standards.
Runway 4/22 is currently OPEN for normal operations until June 22nd.
The FULL AIRPORT CLOSURE is scheduled from Monday, June 22 at 0700L until Friday, June 26 at 0700L. ALL RUNWAYS WILL BE CLOSED for a maximum of 4 consecutive days to allow for paving in the intersection.
Helicopter operations from the ramp areas are allowed during the closure.
Runway 15/33 is Closed for Rehab (Crack filling, Seal Coating, New Paint). It should return to service next week.
Portions of Taxiway A and B will close intermittently over the next two weeks. These impacts will be minor.
