Upcoming Airfield Impacts and Closures
The construction phase of the Airfield Modernization Program continues in 2026. These significant initiatives will enhance the safety and operational efficiency of our facilities and bring our airfield into compliance with current FAA standards.
> Runway 4/22 is open for normal operations. There are no plans to close Runway 4/22 before June 15th at the earliest. Detailed NOTAMs will be issued at least 7 days in advance.
> Runway 15/33 is Closed for Rehab (Crack filling, Seal Coating, New Paint)
> Portions of Taxiway B are closed.
> FULL AIRPORT CLOSURE DELAYED – It will be rescheduled after June 15th. ALL RUNWAYS WILL BE CLOSED for a maximum of 4 consecutive days to allow for paving in the intersection. Helicopter operations from the ramp areas are allowed during the closure.
