Fast forward to 2024, and the airport is now contributing nearly $91.5 million in business revenue. Employment and Job Creation
In 2024, Easton Airport supported 542 jobs, reflecting an increase from the 494 jobs in 2018. This growth in employment spans direct, induced, and indirect jobs, showcasing how the airport fuels job creation across multiple sectors.
Boost in Personal Income
Easton Airport’s economic activity leads to higher personal income for local workers. In 2018, the airport generated $25.9 million in personal wages. By 2024, this figure had risen to $36.9 million, contributing to stronger household incomes and local spending.

The airport’s contributions to state and local taxes have also grown significantly. In 2018, Easton Airport contributed $6.7 million in taxes, and in 2024, this figure jumped to $11.3 million. This increase supports public services, infrastructure development, and local government initiatives.

The airport continues to base essential emergency services including medical transport, search and rescue, Civil Air Patrol, Maryland State Police Trooper 6, Department of Natural Resources, and Talbot County Department of Emergency Services.
