CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT!
Easton Airport Day is October 8, 2022! Last year, our Aviation Career Education (ACE) tent, sponsored by Sundance Kitchen Bath & Exteriors, raised awareness and funds for our ACE programs and learning center. Fundraising also allowed the program to award scholarships to kids/students, covering the cost of their first flying lesson with Trident Aircraft instructors. The ACE committee offers these scholarships and learning opportunities in hopes that kids are inspired to pursue amazing careers in the aerospace industry. Plus, flying is fun!
The committee wants to send two more students flying this summer. To award the introductory flight lessons, we are running a hashtag contest! Students or their parents can participate, here is how.
RULES:
-Make an INDIVIDUAL POST (not a reply on this or any other thread), include the hashtag #EastonAirportACE2022 and #EastonAirport to let us know why you (or your child) enjoy aviation and want to go flying. Feel free to use photos or videos; just do not forget to include the hashtags on Facebook or Instagram!
-All individual posts using the hashtags will receive one entry into the random draw sweepstakes. One post = one entry and you are limited to one entry per person. Parents with multiple kids to enter into the sweepstakes can submit one post for each kid.
-The contest will run through Monday, August 15 with winners announce by August 17.
-Kids must be 15 years or older to fly with the instructor. Younger students can fly, but an adult/guardian must accompany them. The flight instructor will determine other considerations or restrictions during the consultation prior to the flight training.
-No idea what a hashtag is? No problem! Just send an email with your name and info to letting us know you would like to be entered into the drawing!
