Easton Airport now features free public Wi-Fi in the terminal building.
To use the service, wireless users will find access instructions and password info posted in the terminal lobby, notice boards, and café. The network will show up as Terminal Guest Network in the list of available wireless networks or guests can scan the QR codes provided for quick connection.
Wi-Fi access has been available to pilots and travelers through several businesses and FBOs located at ESN, but Easton Airport management identified the need to provide the service to more users of Easton Airport’s public space.
“We have completed a number of improvement projects in the terminal the past few years,” Easton Airport Manager Micah Risher said. “Providing free public Wi-Fi to all guests is another way we can modernize the guest experience.”
The complimentary Wi-Fi is available in Sugar Buns Café and the outdoor patio areas. The restaurant is undergoing renovations of it’s own this winter. Sugar Buns ownership is replacing their older booth seating for new tables, chairs, and custom built benches. Their team aims to streamline service, provide a flex dining and works space for pilots, and unveil other changes over the coming months.
