Easton Airport hosted residents of the nearby Easton Village community for a “Walk & Talk” on the airfield on November 3. Nearly 40 guests registered for the opportunity to go “behind-the-scenes” to look at airport operations. Walk & Talk participants learned about the Air Traffic Control Tower, operations, future runway safety improvements, and other assets found at Easton Airport.
“Reps from Easton Village reached out to us to hold the walk so their community members could ask questions about our upcoming runway projects and things going on at the airport,” Easton Airport Business & Marketing Coordinator Jeff Lankford said. “The group had a perfect day to see a variety of operations at ESN on a pretty busy day with great weather.”
Easton Airport management anticipates bringing the Walk & Talk series back in 2023 for the public to attend. More info will be announced on www.eastonairport.com or Facebook @eastonairport by early spring.
