PUBLIC NOTICE UPDATE (05/08/2026): Operational Impacts at Easton Airport

Upcoming Airfield Impacts and Closures (FULL AIRPORT CLOSURE IS DELAYED)

The construction phase of the Airfield Modernization Program continues in 2026. These significant initiatives will enhance the safety and operational efficiency of our facilities and bring our airfield into compliance with current FAA standards.

> Runway 15/33 is Closed for Rehab (Crack filling, Seal Coating, New Paint)

> Runway 4/22 is Open for Arrivals and Departures ONLY – No VFR Pattern work permitted (No Touch & Go, Stop & Go, or Low Approach)  

> Once Runway 15/33 Rehab is complete, Runway 4/22 will Close until the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Detailed NOTAMs will be issued 7 days in advance.

> FULL AIRPORT CLOSURE DELAYED – It will be rescheduled after Memorial Day.  

> The Full Airport Closure will last a maximum of 4 consecutive days. For planning purposes, please anticipate the closure to begin between May 26th  and June 8th .

Significant Taxiway Closures:

> Portions of Taxiway A, B, D, and E are closed.

> Aircraft should expect to taxi via Taxilane T (Ramp area between Terminal Building and Easton Jet).

> Aircraft may have to “back taxi” on Runway 4/22 due to significant impacts to Taxiway A.

> Users and Businesses are reminded to keep the Taxilane clear and expect a high volume of aircraft taxiing through the ramps.

05/08/2026 Update – The section of Taxiway B between Runway 4/22 and Taxiway A is now open. Red below depicts expected closures noted above.

IMPORTANT: Taxilane T is located on the Non-Movement area of the Ramp. The Control Tower has an obstructed view. Please use extra caution while operating in these areas.
