Spring Walk & Talk series recap

Easton Airport completed the spring 2022 “Walk & Talk” airport open house series this past month. Nearly one hundreds guests registered for the opportunity to go “behind-the-scenes” to look at airport operations. Walk & Talk participants learned about the Air Traffic Control Tower, operations, future runway safety improvements, and other assets found at Easton Airport.

During the tours, management made stops to take photos of aircraft and equipment that were out during the event. A visit with the Maryland State Police – Aviation Command’s hangar was a highlight of one of the walks while another group had an opportunity to go inside a jet with an impromptu invitation by an arriving pilot.

“Each tour we conduct is a little bit unique because every day you see something new here at the airport,” Easton Airport Business & Marketing Coordinator Jeff Lankford said.

Easton Airport management anticipates bringing the Walk & Talk series back in the fall of 2022. Easton Airport Day is also set for October 8 meaning there will be lots of opportunities for the general public to come out and enjoy the airport. More info will be announced on both events on www.eastonairport.com or Facebook @eastonairport.
