Description: The Airspace in the Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C. areas contain the Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ), SFRA, TFR’s and many other areas of Special Use Airspace. If you fly in this airspace or plan to in the future, don’t miss this updated and valuable presentation provided by an Air-traffic Controller at Potomac TRACON. The speaker is assigned to the Chesapeake Sector, which includes most of the Baltimore and Washington DC Airspace. There will be ample time for questions at the end of the presentation.
- Prior to the TRACON presentation there will be a short meeting provided by Airport management discussing current local safety trends and upcoming runway proijects.
- Following the TRACON Presentation, ATC tower tours will be offered to attendees who have pre-registered. Due to security requirements, persons who would like to participate in the Control Tower tour MUST Preregister By 08/06/2026 & bring photo identification.
A pizza dinner is being graciously provided to attendees by the Maryland Aviation Council.
